Asking only the big questions, Why by Streamlight Studio Band looks for answers and has hope that everything will work out. This new Contemporary Christian song moves patiently and keeps the energy under control. It is driven by a simple drum groove and ethereal keyboards, giving ample room for the vocals and lyrics to take center stage. Lyrically, it provides raw glimpses of the darkness found in our world, followed by the repetitious question of "why?" While this may seem intense, the vocals deliver every word with a calm demeanor and subside any fear and worry. It almost like hearing a bedtime story told by a grandparent. As the song progresses, the lyrics add a glimmer of hope stating that the answers to our questions will be sent and will make perfect sense. All in all, Why by Studio Band is a gentle new Contemporary Christian song that shines some light during the darkest of times.

Strongest Point(s)

The lyrics really do the heaviest lifting in Why. They lay out some grim and relatable scenarios - lonely voices crying, anguishing, or praying. All looking for answers and help. When all encouragement seems to be lost, there is still the hope that everything will make sense in the end. These are lyrics that many listeners will relate to and can use this song for comfort in tough times.

Target Audience Appeal

Fans of Gospel, Christian, and CCM music will enjoy Why by Streamlight Studio Band.
